We are owned and operated by MB DIY. MB is the UK’s leading independent home improvement supplier, based in Middlesbrough in the North East of England. Formed in 1987 by Mike Greenup Snr, the company has since grown in stature to where we are today – thirty years on we have a 30,000 sq ft facility, thousands of lines of stock items readily available and our own fleet of 7+ delivery vehicles.
MB specialises in DIY hardware, security and premium quality PVC decor products. As well as working closely with our manufacturing partners to produce our own range of products, we are also a main distributor for many leading brands such as Yale, Era, Hoppe, Vox, Dumaplast and.
MB’s success is built on putting the customer at the heart of everything we do; we aim to deliver the finest possible standards of service from the moment your order is placed to the safe arrival of your goods. Our customer charter listing our aims has been developed with this in mind:

Our office must be notified of all products that are to be returned, you will then be advised of how to proceed; All goods must be returned within 28 days of the date of the sale, unopened and in original packaging and in suitable condition for re sale for any refunds to be applied.
Goods that are opened or fitted cannot be returned or exchanged.
MB reserves the right to charge a re-stocking fee of 25%, and none stock or special order items are none returnable and none refundable.
In the case of refunds, MB will refund the customer the cost of the goods only; carriage will not be refunded unless an error has occurred at MB which has resulted in the incorrect goods being despatched.
Return shipping costs are to be covered by the customer unless stated otherwise.
Whatever your reason for returning a product, we ask that you please observe a duty of care towards the goods; please ensure that the product is clearly labelled with your name and address marked.
We strongly suggest you use a sign for service as we will not be held responsible for non receipt of any returned goods.
Damaged Goods Claims
Damaged goods must be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery; if possible, please take a picture of the damages to help us with verification. Once verified, we will endeavour to replace the items free of charge within 48 hours, depending on stock availability.
Please inspect all goods on arrival, as we cannot accept returns post fitting, and MB will not be held liable for any fitting or refitting labour costs.
